At Movement Physical Therapy & Spine, we utilize an innovative, proven process, without using expensive imaging, to get to the root of the problem so you get back to your normal activities as quickly as possible.
Many people are not aware that much of our pain is actually caused by poor movement patterns and postures. If not recognized and addressed, these patterns can lead to "mechanical pain."
Pain of mechanical origin occurs when the joint between two bones has been placed in a position that overstretches the surrounding ligaments and other soft tissues. This type of pain can occur in any joint of the body. When this is the case, there is no test (i.e. x-ray, MRI, CT scan, etc.) that will be able to provide an accurate diagnosis or treatment plan for your pain.
That's where we come in!
Dr. Page is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie Method), a specialized training developed by the world-renowned physical therapist, Robin McKenzie, for treating this type of muscle, joint, and nerve pain. Dr. Page's specialized training allows him to identify the unique patterns of movement causing your pain in order to provide you an effective solution that gets to the root of the problem rather than just temporarily masking your symptoms.
